Jim Gray: Jim Gray was a researcher and manager of Microsoft Research's
eScience Group. He developed
many of the fundamental concepts of eScience, and worked on the database structure of the
LifeUnderYourFeet site. |

Alex Szalay: I am a professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy
and the Department of Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University. I am interested in how
large scientific databases are changing how we understand our world. I enjoy making music,
especially playing guitar. |

Andreas Terzis: I am an Assistant Professor in the
Department of Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University, where I head the Hopkins
InterNetworking Research Group (HiNRG). I joined the faculty in January 2003.

Doug Carlson: I am a PhD student in computer science at JHU. I work on the software
that runs the sensor nodes. Outside of the lab, I can be found riding my bike, baking bread,
or going to concerts. |

Razvan Musaloiu: I am a PhD student at Johns Hopkins University and a
member of the Hopkins InterNetworking Research Group. My job as part of the Life Under
Your Feet project is to write the code that runs on the sensor motes that we are
using. I like to write code even outside the school, and I also enjoy taking pictures
all the time. |

Jayant Gupchup: I am a Ph.D. student with the Department of
Computer Science at JHU. I am responsible for the integrity of the data collected by
the LifeUnderYourFeet sensors. In my free time, I enjoy watching soccer (a.k.a football) and collecting stamps. |

Chieh-Jan (Mike) Liang: I am a PhD student in Computer Science at
Johns Hopkins University. |

Taesung Kim: I am a masters student in computer science at JHU. I work on developing web
applications such as the Grazor tool.
Besides works and studies, I enjoy going to the gym and dancing. |

Luis Grimaldo:
I am an undergraduate student in Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University. My job in Life Under Your Feet
is to develop software that allows us to visualizes the data and metadata collected by the sensors.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing soccer, badminton and developing video games.
